IGT Latest Harvest


Production area:

Impruneta, Greve in Chianti, 15 km south of Florence, traditionally a high quality Tuscan wines production area.


Soil:

Limestone, with a mix of clay and galestro.


Production per plant:
Grapes:

Trebbiano 40%, Malvasia Bianca 20%, Sangiovese 30%, Canaiolo 10%.The grapes come exclusively from vineyards of more than 40 years.


Harvest:

exclusively by hand, in small crates to keep the fruit intact. The grapes are selected in vineyards of more than 40 years and are picked at the end of october, beginning of november.


Fermentation:

spontaneous, inside 50lt. Wood barrels, typical from Tuscany, called Caratelli.

Ageing:

at least 3 years in 50 lt. inside wood barrels.


Stabilization:

the wine is stabilized by cold before bottling. We don’t make filtrations.
